The Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation is a community of wilderness-minded and hardworking individuals, dedicated to connecting wilderness with the people who work, live, and play within it.
I came to Idaho just to do this trail trip. I wanted to experience the wilderness, fish for cutthroat, and give back. I was able to team up with a group of hard-working, considerate people and do something positive for the Frank Church. Looking forward to next year. I’m ready to return!

I have been able to participate in four volunteer projects with the SBFC and each time I come away more impressed with the work these folks are doing and the satisfaction of helping on projects with a lasting benefit. Plus, I have learned how to use a cross-cut saw!
