Join SBFC for Our Fourth Annual Women’s Wilderness Trail Project!

Back for its fourth year, this special project invites women to explore and give back to the breathtaking Frank Church–River of No Return Wilderness! Spend a week improving trails, practicing wilderness ethics, and forming lasting connections with a crew of inspiring female volunteers.

This year’s project focuses on enhancing the Waterfall Trail #6045 to Terrace Lakes by improving trail tread and water drainage. Expect to dig in the dirt, move rocks, and swing tools—all while soaking in some of the most scenic landscapes the West has to offer.

Open to women of all ages and experience levels! Whether you're a seasoned trail worker or a first-time backpacker, this is an opportunity to step away from daily, wired life and enjoy a rewarding experience in a supportive, all-female environment.

This is a moderate trip with pack support. Pack support will be provided for group equipment and food, but participants must carry personal gear and be prepared to haul in trail tools (see packing list).

SBFC will supply breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks throughout the trip.
